Launch Site V1 Hellendoorn

According to Henk Ponsteen's diary, this launch site was taken into use on December 16, 1944: "The Germans made a starting point for one of their secret weapons near the water reservoir. From half past five in the morning there is a mysterious buzz in the mountain "Apparently they're trial running."
March 28, 1945 the launch track is out of use. In a span of 3 1/2 months, about 500 V1's have been launched.
All the foundations are still in the ground. The base plate is also still present, but broken. Everything is underground. The first three uprights are exactly copied by Gerard Pijnappel. Other uprights are indicated by means of posts. People then have an impression of the length of the track.
On January 5, 2018, the information board and launch track were unveiled in their current form.
