Musée de la Reddition (Museum of the Surrender)

A museum in Reims commemorating the end of World War Two in Europe. It is located at the actual site of the surrender at 2:41 am on Monday, May 7, 1945, where officers of both sides signed a declaration of unconditional surrender, ending World War Two in Europe.

The signature took place at a school, which was then the headquarters of General Eisenhower, Supreme Allied Commander in Europe. The school is now the Lycée Roosevelt, but it has a museum inside it.

It is a pretty good museum that could take you 1-2 hours to go through. It has a variety of items, displays and models.

For current visiting hours, please contact the museum.
