The square grey sandstone monument stands on a single step base. The north side has a relief carving of a late WW1 German soldier wearing a greatcoat, holding a rifle against his right side and cradling his helmet in his left arm. His head is bowed and turned to his left. The west, south and east sides contain lists of names carved in relief with two columns on each side. The WW1 dead (77), on the west and south sides, also has the day and month of their death, though the missing (29) gives only names. The deaths are listed in chronological order starting on the left panel on each side.
Notably the WW1 dead include individuals who died in 1919, 1922 and 1923.
The east sides contains the WW2 dead (67 including 3 from 1946) and starts on the right panel instead of the left. No individual dates of their deaths are given, also unlike the WW1 lists. The missing (13) are on the bottom left panel.
Two additional names from WW2 were added at the bottom left of the north side.
