Graves Polish Veterans St. Barbara

After the Second World War, many Polish soldiers who had fought with the Allies could not return to their fatherland because this was occupied by the Soviet Union. When they returned, they should be punished.

For these 80 Polish veterans in the Netherlands, a part of the Roman-Catholic Cemetery St. Barbara in Utrecht was reserved. During the years, they were buried here next to each other.
