Dutch War Graves Brookwood Cemetery

There are two Dutch war graves from World War II at Brookwood Cemetery:

- Willem Joseph Gerard Paul Rieter 1916-1942 (plot 123)

Willem ‘Wim’ Rieter from Venlo was studying in England at the outbreak of war and joined the RAF in 1940. He became co-pilot on a Short Stirling bomber and crashed on 23-4-1942 after his aircraft suffered engine trouble shortly after take-off.

- Kasmin 1900-1946 (plot 128-M1)

Merchant seaman, originally from Madura Indonesia, clerked for the Royal Rotterdam Lloyd.
