Memorial Wethered Family

This memorial, within the All Saints Church, commemorates Colonel Joseph Robert Wethered who served his country in the Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902) and in World War I. His son Major Guy Ernest Fitzgerald Wethered died of his wounds in Burma in 1944 and his son in law Captain James Makepeace Thackeray Richie was killed in France in 1940.
