This war memorial commemorates the residents of Potsarnentsi who were killed in the First and Second Balkan War (1912-1913), the First World War and the last years (1944-1945) of the Second World War.
From 1941 to 1944, Bulgaria was one of the Axis-countries and had occupied parts of Greece and Servia. Soldiers who were killed in these years are not mentioned on memorials. From 28 October 1944 to the end of the war, Bulgaria was one of the allied countries which fought against Germany.
