In the Holy Trinity Church are a number of plaques:
- Plaque commemorating the soldiers of the G and H Company, 1st Volunteer Battalion The Border Regiment who served their country in the Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902).
- Plaque commemorating 12 officers, 18 sergeants, 18 corporals and 364 men of the 55th (Westmorland) Regiment of Foot who gave their lives in the Crimean War.
- Plaque commemorating the members of the parish who gave their lives in the Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902).
- Plaque commemorating the residents of Cumberland and Westmorland who gave their lives in the South-African War (2nd Boer War).
