Battery West Martello Tower
Battery West Martello Tower was part of Fort Taylor and was built in 1943. The battery had two 90mm guns used as as anti-motor-torpedo boat (AMTB) artillery. It was deactivated in 1946.
The concrete fundaments of the guns are still visible but were re-used.
