Tower of London
The Tower of London was used during the world wars as a prison and execution site for German spies and Nazis such as Norman Baillie-Stewart, Joseph Jakobs and Rudolf Hess. Jopseph Jakobs was the last Tower prisoner to be executed. He was shot dead in August 1941.
