Battery Godfrey
Battery Godfrey was a part of Fort Winfield Scott, part of the harbor defense of San Francisco and was built in 1900. The battery was operational until 1943, when it was deactivated. It was equipped with three 12" guns.
Nowadays the battery is open to the public.
