Challes-les-Eaux Cemetery contains the original grave of the twenty peoples shot by German troops on 20 June 1944. In September 1944, their bodies were exhumed and buried in their family grave following their identifications.
The Challes-les-Eaux Cemetery also housed 4 French war graves from World War I. Later on, the graves were transferred.
