War Memorial Stokesay

This memorial commemorates the residents of Stokesay who gave their lives for their country in World War I (24 names) and World War II (8 names). Those who served in World War I are also mentioned.

Many of these memorials were erected after the First World War. After the Second World War, the names of those who died in that war were also added to the memorial. The memorial is located in the grounds of St. John the Baptist church next to Stokesay Castle.
