War Memorial Weld County

This memorial commemorates the residents of Weld County who gave their lives for their country in World War II, the Korea War, the Vietnam War and the Gulf War. Those who served in these wars are also commemorated.

The centerpiece of the memorial is a statue of Pvt. Joe P. Martinez of Ault, Colorado, the first Weld County resident to be awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor.
