Memorial Old Jewish Cemetery Lodz
The German occupation force began destroying this cemetery in 1942. The cemeter was still in use by the ghetto inmates of Lodz in that period.
The communists completely destroyed the cemetery between 1949 and 1954. This area holds about 12.000 graves.
