Memorial François Boltz, Louis Godefroy and Adjeman

This plaque at the Passerelle de la Mare commemorates the resistance fighters François Boltz (38 years old), Louis Godefroy (53 years old) and Adjeman (50 years old) of the Piat resistance-group, who were killed in action, together with two unknown resistance fighters, on this location on 23 August 1944 in an attack on a German train, during the battle for the liberation of Paris, which took place from 19 to 25 August 1944.
