Memorial Sabine Zlatin

This plaque commemorates the resistance fighter Sabine Zlatin (1907-1996), who had lived here. She was the initiator of the Maison d'Izieu, where Jewish children were hidden. On 6 April 1944, when Sabine Zlatin was not present in the house, all 44 children and the six companions were arrested, and later deported and murdered.
