The cemetery in Anderlecht contains numerous Belgian war graves of military and civilian victims of the two world wars. There is a plot of honor, other graves are scattered throughout the cemetery.
These are the graves of soldiers, civilians, resistance fighters, prisoners of war and political prisoners who lost their lives during the First and Second World War.
There is the collective grave of the Family Gysels-Detelder. It contains the graves of three resistance fighters, including GYSELS Jules (1923-1943), who was executed by the Germans in the Second World War.
