Belgian War Graves Beveren-IJzer
The churchyard of Beveren-IJzer contains a Belgian military plot with six war graves of the First World. There are also two First World War burials and one Second World War burial throughout the churchyard.
Colonel René BREMER, commander of the First Regiment Carabiniers of the Belgian Army, was killed at Zonnebeke on 14 October 1918.
