Memorial ‘Man Against Power’

This memorial commemorates the battle in World War II.

Text on the memorial:
40 – 45

In September 1953 the war memorial was unveiled by Queen Juliana. In 1970 the artwork was dismantled and various parts were given a different destination. The bronze statue 'Man against power' was eventually placed on a hard stone table at the Eusebiuskerk.
