Franco-Prussian War Cemetery Giffertwald

On the Giffertwald war cemetery (Cimetière Franco-Allemand de Giffertwald) rest the remains of 1092 French ans German soldiers who were killed on 6 August 1870 in the Battle of Spicheren in the Franco-Prussian War (1870-1871). Of only 2 French and 5 Prussian soldiers, the names are known.
