World War II Memorial Aniche

This memorial (Monument aux Morts) in the cemetery commemorates the residents of Aniche who gave their lives in World War II. Behind the memorial are a number of private remembrance plaques from World War II. Other plaques commemorate the residents of Aniche who gave their lives in the wars in Indochina (1946-1954) and Algeria (1954-1962).
