Coastal Battery Monte Moro

This coastal battery from Italian origin was taken over by the German army on 8 September 1943, which expanded the complex. It remained inactive untill 24 April 1945, when partisans (and later elements of the 92th U.S. Infantry Division) assualted Genoa. The battery surrendered on 28 April 1945.
