War Memorial Miercurea-Ciuc

This monument in the centre of the city was inaugurated on the August 19th 1974 and made by sculptor Marius Butunoiu.
On a concrete and marble structure a bronze statue on an infantry soldier is placed in front of an obelisk which is covered with white marble.
On a bronze tablet the inscription: "Eternal glory to the Romanian soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the battles for the liberation of the country from the fascist domination" is placed in Romanian.
