Atlantikwall - Batterie M.K.B. Hysnes 2/506

This Norwegian fort saw action on 9 April 1940 when German troops attacked the fort. There were no losses on the Norwegian side, but the Germans lost 22 men in the battle. Hysnes Fort was modernised and expanded during the German occupation of Norway into a coastal battery.

The fort today
It is currently a war museum.
