War Memorial Cliche de Bois Leffe Dinant

War Memorial at Leffe, Dinant, in memory of the victims of 23 August 1914. On Sundy 23 August 1914 Dinant was the stage of a real massacre and the town was pillaged. In total the Germans murdered 674 Belgian civilians, including women, children and old men.
At this spot named Cliche de Bois, 43 civilians were killed here by German soldiers.
