Birkenkopf Hill
In 53 air-raids in World War II, Stuttgart was destroyed for nearly 60%. 1.5 million cubic meters of rubble from the City was brought to this hill, which increased in height from 470 to 511 meters. A memorial on top remembers the lives lost in the city during the war.
