War Memorial Birsay

The memorial commemorates those natives of Birsay who lost their lives in the First and Second World Wars.

Erected by subscription in memory of those natives of Birsay, who died for us and truth in the nation’s service, in the war 1914-19.

Also those who died in the Second World War 1939 - 45
