Darlington Memorial Hospital

The hospital was built as a memorial to the men of Darlington killed in the First World War. The Memorial Hall has eleven plaques with the names of the dead, and a Book of Remembrance.

The cenotaph outside the hospital has the dates 1914-1918 and 1939-1945, along with the inscription:
Their names are inscribed on marble tablets in the hall of memory
