Memorials Church of St. Editha Tamworth

These plaques are dedicated to:

Private Samuel Parkes (1815-1864), who was awarded a Victoria Cross for hit part in the Charge of the Light Brigate at Balaklava, on 25 October 1854 in the Crimean War.

Pte. H. Johnson, who gave his life on 15 May 1901 in the South-African War (2nd Boer War).
