Memorials Coalition Wars & Crimean War York Minster

The following plaques in York Minster are dedicated to the Crimean War:

The men of the 19th or 1st York North Riding Regt. of Foot, who gave their lives in the Crimean War.

The over 500 men of the 33rd Regiment of Foot who gave their lives in the Crimean War.

A third plaque commemorates the men of the 51st (Kings Own Yorkshire) Light Infantry who gave their lives in the Coalition Wars, from 1808 to 1814 in the Peninsula War.
