Crash Site & Remains B-24D-53-CO Liberator "Twin Nifty's" 42-40348
B-24D-53-CO "Twin Nifty's" # 42-40348 was rammed and damaged by B-24D "Yanks from Hell" 41-23716, which was hit by AA fire. The "Twin Nifty's" crashed into the swamp area near Angoram Mission on 16 August 1943. All crew members were killed.
