Remembrance Bench Sgt. Steven (TC) Roberts

This memorial seat commemorates Sgt. Steven (TC) Roberts, who gave his life in 2003 in the war in Iraq. Steven Roberts signed up to the British Army aged 16. After completing basic training he joined the Royal Tank Regiment. He remained with the regiment until he was killed in action in Iraq on the morning of the 24th March 2003. Sgt Roberts proudly served Queen and country for 16 years. Fear Naught!
