Crash Site & Remains G4M1 Model 11 Betty 2271
G4M1 Model 11 Betty # 2271 was ditched off Panaeati Island on 7 May 1942, during the Battle of the Coral Sea. The plane was dragged ashore and remained in situ on the beach. Only some parts can be found on the beach these days.
