At the Wilhelminastraat in Didam, this War Memorial is erected.
The Memorial commemorates the 44 victims of Didam of World War II and the war in the Dutch East Indies.
The commemorated victims consist of soldiers, civilians and Jewish deportees.
The soldiers are commemorated on the plaque at the front, the two sides have plaques made for the civilian casualties and at the back is a plaque for the Jewish victims.
The Memorial was designed by Albert Meertens and A.W.N. Giesen and was revealed on May 4th 1951.
