Shipwreck SS Bantam
The Dutch cargo ship SS Bantam was sunk by Japanese dive bombers in Ore Bay on 28 March 1943. The wreck was raised, towed to Australia and scuttled off Sydney in 1946, after being filled with unwanted chemical warfare agents (CWA).
