Memorial Lancaster LM 158

Close to this location Lancaster Bomber LM158 of 90 Squadron Bomber Command crashed on 13 June 1944 at 01:30 AM.

The aircraft was a the return flight from Gelsenkirchen (D) to her base Tuddenham in Suffolk (ENG) and was hit by a German fighter. Six crew members were buried at Hall cemetery on 15 June 1944.
