Commonwealth War Graves Kappel Churchyard

Kappel cemetery contains four Commonwealth war graves from World War II. Two of the graves belong to Flight Sergeant Norman Lindsay Howard (RAAF) and Flight Officer Peter Harold Howard Pritchard (RAF). Unknown casualties are buried in the other two graves.

Near the tombstones is a monument with the inscription:

"1940 - 1945"

"Her hviler 2 allierede flyvere de valdt ogsaa i kampen for Danmarks frihed"

‘Here rest 2 allied airmen who died fighting for Denmark's freedom".
