Temporary Grave of George de Villebois-Mareuil

Boshof Cemetery contained the grave of George Henri Anne-Marie Victor, Count de Villebois-Mareuil (known as George de Villebois-Mareuil), who gave his life on 6 April 1900 in the South-African War (Anglo-Boer War). He had the rank of Major-General in the armed forces of the Boer Republics.
In 1971, his grave was transferred to Magersfontein.
