Commonwealth War Grave Tyrrellspass Cemetery

Tyrrellspass Cemetery contains one Commonwealth war grave from the First World War, of Private James Joseph Daly. He was the last soldier of the British Army to suffer death in peace or war for a military offence. He was executed for mutiny at Wellington Barracks in Jullundur in India. Nevertheless he is commemorated as a casualty of the Great War.
