Tecumseh Memorial Thamesville

This memorial, in the shape of a turtle shell, commemorates the Indian leader Tecumseh, who was killed in action in the Battle of the Thames (also known as the Battle of Moraviantown), which took place on 5 October 1813 during the War of 1812. The battle was won by the Americans.
