Fairfield on the Thames National Historic Site

This memorial commemorates the Battle of the Thames (also known as the Battle of Moraviantown), which took place on 5 October 1813 during the War of 1812. The battle was won by the Americans.

In total 16 information signs give information about the Battle of the Thames and about the life and death of the Indian leader Tecumseh, who was killed in action in the battle.
