Memorial Selca

This is a memorial plaque attached to a building in Selca, a small town on the Island of Brac.

Loosely translated, the plaque reads:

"We remember with sadness in our hearts 9th August 1943 when the Italian occupiers burned Selca to the ground.

On the 65th anniversary commemorating this event this memorial was erected by the people of Selca. "
