Monument to Fallen Fighters

Located just above Ratac beach in Povlja, this monument commemorates the fallen fighters of the 'national liberation struggle' in WW2. Its location is also the spot where villagers were executed by the Italian army which was occupying the island during the war.

The inscription loosely translates as:

"In memory of the local people killed during the national liberation struggle".
