Dutch War Graves Barneveld

This cemetery contains nine Dutch war graves from the Second World War.

De Plantage Cemetery contains the grave of the following person, who fought for The Netherlands and who gave his life in the war in Afghanistan and/or Operation Enduring Freedom:

31 August 2006 , Captain Michael "Sofac" Donkervoort, aged 29

At the Plantage Cemetery in Barneveld is one Commonwealth War Grave. Egbert Joost baron van Nagell van de Schaffelaar is buried here. He was Spitfire pilot with RAF Dutch 322 Squadron. On 28 January 1944 he was shot down at Merville (Nord) in France. In 1947 Egbert Joost baron van Nagell, heer van Schaffelaar was reburied in this family grave in Barneveld.
