Military Museum of the Labor Heroism 1941-1945

This museum is part of the victory square in Saransk and is devoted to the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945). The museum has collected many funds in the past years (currently number stands on 39,986), which includes diaries, front letters, personal belongings of the soldiers, weapons, photographs, documents and awards received by the natives of Mordovia for deeds in battle. In addition, the museum includes a large stock of books (more than 4000 books) on the history of the Great Patriotic War. There are 4 main halls to exhibit.
