Dutch War Graves Westerbork General Cemetery

At the Municipal Cemetery at Westerbork are three graves of resistance fighters from the Second World War.
These are the graves of:

Henderikus Pronk, died in Hooghalen, 19-10-1944, age 33
Jan de Leeuw, died in Hamburg-Neuengamme, 07-02-1945, age 34
Meindert Meindertsma, died in Hamburg-Neuengamme, 19-02-1945, age 57.


The cemetery also contains the grave of the following person, who fought for The Netherlands and who gave his life in the war in Afghanistan and/or Operation Enduring Freedom:

17 April 2010 , Marine-Private Marc Albert Harders, aged 23
