Shipwreck Teiyo Maru
The Teiyo Maru (6,801 GRT) was sunk by Allied bombers on 3 August 1943, during the Battle of Bismarck Sea. The disaster resulted in the death of 17 sailors, 15 shipboard gunners and 1,882 soldiers.
