Crash Site Mitsubishi G4M1 Model 11 Tail 326

This Mitsubishi G4M1 Model 11 was shot down by American fighters on 18 Apirl 1943, after which the plane was ditched off Moila Point. Nine people were killed and three survived. Among the killed are:

Commander Rinji Tomoro
Commander Kaoru Imananka
Commander Suteji Muroi

Among the survivors are:
Vice-Admiral Matome Ugaki
Captain Motoharu Kitamura
