At Jieznas (Lithuania), on the main road 129, called Stoties gatve, is a small German cemetery from World War I. The cemetery is surrounded by a low stone wall, with a wooden monument in the middle. There are no individually marked graves, but stone trays with names of fallen soldiers have been placed in the back wall. There are 2 of those tableaux, a third seems to have disappeared. These are men from the 70th regiment who fell here in the region in the period August / September.
